Update on my fishing career

Hello all! I've finally gotten around to updating my website. Just wanted everyone to know that I'm still here. I've decided to put my tournament fishing on hold for awhile and spend more time doing my art. I'm still involved in the fishing world, doing seminars and promotions, but just not tournament fishing or guiding right now.

Competing in the Bassmaster Central Opens

As many of you may have heard, in January of 2010, BASS announced the closing of the Women's Bassmaster Tour. It came as a shock to all the women who were competing on this Tour and it was a sad day for all.

I won a regular season WBT Tournament & the 2009 Championship!

Now that I have some exciting news, I need to let everyone know that on September 12th, I won the Women's Bassmaster Tour Old Hickory Lake tournament. I took the lead the 2nd day and held on to win by 6 lbs. 12 ozs. You can read all about it at

Back from the 2009 Bassmaster Classic

Well I'm back from the Bassmaster Classic in Shreveport. Many of you already know that Skeet Reese won the Bassmaster Classic and that Kim Bain-Moore, the first women to fish in a Bassmaster Classic finished 47th. I was not able to talk with Kim, but from her Classic Blog I know she was under a tremendous amount of pressure. She was disappointed in her performance, but excited that she got to participate in this history-making event. I know myself and so many others wished her well.

Welcome! I finally got my website up and running. Although it's not completely finished, I wanted to get it started before my season took off in high gear.

I'm on my way to the Bassmaster Classic in Shreveport, LA. I will be at the Expo in the Shreveport Convention Center Friday through Sunday. My time will be divided between the American Rodsmiths, Quantum, Mercury and the Academy Sports & Outdoors booths. The Academy booth is the official Women's Bassmaster Tour booth as well. Please plan on stopping by and saying "Hello". In the Mercury booth, they will be having a really fun event. All the Mercury Pros will be having a casting contest against one another. Stop by to check the schedule. I'm suppose to compete against Bill Dance on Friday sometime between 6-7 p.m.!!!
